 4&5 November 2010 - The Hague
AUTISM WORKSHOP
The HSV and Lighthouse Special Education will be hosting an Autism Workshop on Nov 4 & 5, 2010. The two-day training will be held in The Hague (site to be determined) and is for teachers and providers who work directly with children with autism or with students who have similar learning difficulties.
Participants will learn to use instructional strategies of discrete trial, pivotal response, and functional routines. Participants will receive instructional training on using the research-based STAR Autism Program.
Individualized support will be provided on specific children/student cases (from each participate/team).
The conference will be limited to 60-70 participants. Registration will be available in September.

FIRST FRIENDS PLAYGROUP
First Friends International Parent & Toddler Group meets every Wednesday morning during term time in Voorhout, from 9.30am to 11.30am. Parents of any nationality together with their babies/toddlers aged 0-4 and who enjoy speaking English are warmly welcome!
